Wonderful Weekends (Official Portrait of the Duke and Duchess of Argyle)

In celebration of the Crown Prince Imperial's return to Scotney many of the Nobility have had official portraits released. The craze is currently sweeping the Scot-Britanian Isles creating a media buzz as hereditary Castles play host to family jewels and coronets while there owners dressed to the nines pose in old-world dignity.

Castle Glencoe of the Earls Dysart was the venue for our latest portrait of nobility as the Countess Dysart, now Duchess of Argyle pose with her husband the Duke for their truly spectacular version of an official portrait.

The Red Stair of Castle Glencoe sets of the Argyle Amethyst Parure perfectly as the Duke and Duchess of Argyle strike  a regal pose.

His Grace also posed alone next to the Coronet of rank of a Duke of the Realm.

The Duchess of Argyle is thus by marriage but is a Countess in her own right and for that reason also had a portrait taken of herself next to the Coronet of the Earls Dysart.

The Argyle Amethysts, never before worn by the Duchess, stood as testament of lost treasures being brought to light for everybody's enjoyment. It is in this spirit that the resurgence of Royal popularity in Scot-Britania will hopefully go from strength to strength.

  1. The fur is not real. The Duchess runs a company specialising in fake fur garments. The items are of such a high quality that you will be hard pressed to pick out the real fur when compared with the fake. The company is called Fur Real.
